1๏ธโฃ Refund Eligibility
Since payment is collected after repair completion via a secure email link, refund situations are limited. You are protected at every stage โ no payment is taken until you are satisfied.
If you have already paid via the payment link, you are eligible for a full refund in the following situations:
- We cannot complete the repair: If our craftsman determines the item is beyond repair, no payment link will be sent and the equipment is returned to you at no charge.
- Repair quality does not meet standards: If the repaired item fails our quality standards and we are unable to rectify it, a full refund of the repair charge is provided.
- Wrong service performed: If we perform a different service from what was booked and confirmed without your approval.
- Equipment lost in our custody: Full replacement value up to the insured amount.
30-Day Warranty: If the same issue recurs within 30 days of delivery due to our workmanship, we will fix it free of charge โ this is not a refund but a free re-repair.
2๏ธโฃ Non-Refundable Items
The following are not eligible for refund:
- Shipping charges (both inward and return) โ these are courier costs and non-refundable
- Express repair surcharge (40%) once repair work has commenced
- Inspection fee (โน118 incl. 18% GST) charged when equipment is assessed but repair is declined
- Repairs where damage was caused by the customer after delivery
- Dissatisfaction based on personal preference (e.g. colour of grip) when the stated service was completed correctly
3๏ธโฃ How to Request a Refund
To request a refund:
- Contact us within 7 days of delivery via WhatsApp (+91 75551 28049) or email (info@cricketgearlab.com)
- Provide your Order ID and a description of the issue
- Share clear photos of the item showing the problem
- Our team will review your request within 2 business days
- If approved, refund is processed within 5โ7 business days
4๏ธโฃ Refund Processing Time
Once a refund is approved:
- UPI / Bank Transfer: 2โ3 business days
- Credit / Debit Card: 5โ7 business days (depends on your bank)
- Net Banking: 3โ5 business days
You will receive a confirmation SMS and WhatsApp message when the refund is initiated.
5๏ธโฃ Order Cancellations
Since no upfront payment is collected at booking, there is no prepaid amount to refund for cancellations. You only pay after repair via the email payment link.
- Before pickup: Free cancellation โ no charges. Simply WhatsApp or call us to cancel.
- After pickup, before inspection: Two-way shipping charges apply.
- After inspection begins: โน118 inspection fee (incl. 18% GST) + two-way shipping charges apply.
- After repair begins: Repair charge becomes payable once work has commenced โ you will be invoiced via email.
- Payment link received but not paid: If repair is complete and you choose not to proceed, the inspection fee and shipping charges apply. Equipment will be returned after payment of these charges.
